At 1:37 PM, reports emerged of a partially blown-off roof in Roxborough.

Around 2:00 PM, the Tobago Emergency Management Agency received reports of a large tree collapsing on a home in Mt. Grace, causing damage to the roof and the home. There have also been no reports of injuries in this incident.

A weather station at Lambeau, Tobago, reported sustained winds of 30.9 knots (57 KM/H), while another at Anse Fourmi reported wind gusts to 41.2 KM/H at 1:46 PM

These stronger winds are trailing the axis of Tropical Wave 01, which moved across Trinidad and Tobago earlier on Saturday. Showers and thunderstorms mainly affected Trinidad in the late morning and early afternoon.

Satellite-derived wind data from earlier on Saturday morning showed a wide area of winds between 20 and 30 knots (37 to 56 KM/H) with gusts to 35 knots (65 KM/H). With gusts to 65 KM/H, impacts generally include localized wind damage to trees, power lines, and small structures. Small potted plants may blow over with light outdoor objects, becoming airborne in stronger gusts. Tents may jump. Localized power outages are possible.

Power outages have been reported across parts of Northern Trinidad shortly after thunderstorm activity began.

Over the next 24 hours, as Tropical Wave 01 continues on its westward path, forecast models have lowered the probability of impactful rainfall but breezy to windy conditions are forecast to continue into the upcoming week.
