Adverse Weather Alert Discontinued
The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service has discontinued the Adverse Weather Alert as the threat of significant impacts has passed, with showers still ongoing across Tobago.
It comes at no surprise as mostly settled conditions have persisted across Trinidad over the last 12-18 hours, barring the few isolated showers. Across Tobago on the other hand, showers have been ongoing since early morning, with a few heavier showers earlier today.
“However, a few intervals of showers and the possibility of the isolated thunderstorm remains in the forecast, especially for Tobago and the Northern half of Trinidad.” according to the TTMS.
Trinidad and Tobago is NOT under any tropical storm threat, watch or warning.
