Until August 26th, 2020, all COVID-19 positive patients tested negative were discharged and were considered recovered. On August 27th, due to the change in discharge criteria, there was a 402-patient spike in the number of persons discharged and considered recovered from COVID-19, as the Ministry of Health removed these persons from their “active cases.” Note that while these discharged people are still mandated to home quarantine for a period, they are not counted in the active cases that are still mild or asymptomatic that have tested positive for the virus. On September 17th, the Ministry of Health first reported patients in home quarantine that were considered recovered, resulting in a 665-patient spike. Note that this graph has also been windowed to a maximum of 150 to remove the two major spikes mentioned above. Data: Ministry of Health, This chart will be updated daily.
