As the day progresses, partly cloudy conditions may build, mainly across coastal areas of Trinidad with a few brisk isolated showers, interrupting a sunny day. Tonight is forecast to be settled with mostly clear skies.
An Atlantic high-pressure system will remain dominant across the region, keeping sunny skies across Trinidad and Tobago throughout today and the first half of tomorrow.
However, a few low-level cloud patches may bring some brisk, isolated showers favoring Eastern Trinidad, while some partly cloudy skies may develop by the mid-afternoon.
Today is also forecast to be breezy, with winds are generally forecast between 20-30 KM/H by the late afternoon, with gusts up to 45 KM/H at times. Saharan dust is present in minimal concentrations across Trinidad and Tobago.

Seas are forecast to remain slight in open waters through the weekend. Waves in open waters are forecast between 1.0 and 1.5 meters, particularly East of Trinidad and Tobago over the 3 days. In sheltered areas, seas to remain near calm through the weekend with winds at 10-15 knots from the east.
