Tropical Storm Grace is moving away from the Leeward Islands with feeder bands affecting much of the Lesser Antilles.
Tropical storm warnings were in effect for the Leewards, from Antigua and Barbuda to Puerto Rico, with tropical storm watches in effect for parts of the Dominican Republic.
Main impacts for Trinidad and Tobago include locally heavy rainfall that may trigger localized street/flash flooding, gusty winds in excess of 45 KM/H causing wind damage, frequent lightning that could become dangerous and with light winds, funnel cloud, waterspout, and possible tornado activity. Landslides are also possible along Northern Trinidad through Sunday afternoon.
An Adverse Weather Alert will be in effect for Trinidad and Tobago from 2:00 AM Sunday through 6:00 PM Sunday from the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service. Trinidad and Tobago is not under a direct threat from Tropical Storm Grace.
