Through the week, tropical waves (TW 31 and TW32) and disturbances (Potential Tropical Cyclone Six) are forecast to track across the Lesser Antilles. While T&T is under no direct threat, increased moisture and instability will enhance showers and thunderstorms across the islands.
In addition, light winds, strong daytime heating, sea breeze convergence, and orographic effects are forecast to cause heavy and slow-moving showers and thunderstorms across hilly areas across Northern Trinidad and western coastal Trinidad. Localized street or flash flooding is expected during the afternoons, particularly on Tuesday into Wednesday.
